Sarah Sandford, Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy

Teaching interests: Clinical examination and assessment, student led clinic and trauma management.

 

Clinical interests: rehabilitation for improved foot posture, long term rehabilitation for lower back pain, load management for tendon injuries, working with active females

 

Research interests: The female athlete; Urinary Stress Incontinence (USI) in female athletes, the perception of USI in female atheltes and support staff, female athlete injury characteristics and risk factors, and long term rehabilitation of female athletes (Hartpury Medical Research Community of Practice).
