Ramnath joined Hartpury in October 2023 as a Higher Education Technician and Demonstrator in Exercise Physiology. Prior to this, he worked as a sports coach in India, where he developed a strong foundation in athlete development and performance support.
He brings valuable experience from working in sports science laboratories, supporting testing and assessments with Olympic and national athletes, special populations, recreationally trained individuals. and teaching laboratory skills to the students.
Ramnath has completed his Level 1 ISAK accreditation and is currently working towards achieving CASES accreditation. He is exploring his options to pursue a PhD with a particular focus on athlete development and performance enhancement. His research interests centre on supporting emerging athletes to progress through the performance pathway to higher competitive stages.
