Overview

Lucy joined Hartpury in 1999 and since then has held different roles including leading modules from levels 4 to 7, programme managing foundation, honours and masters degrees, managing a subject area, leading staff teams and currently being a member of the Higher Education Executive.  She has been an external examiner for York St John University and Nottingham Trent University, and has contributed to periodic curriculum reviews and curriculum validation events for several UK HE providers.

Research interests

Lucy's research interests are currently focused around human-animal interactions and in particular the role of the rider in equestrian sport and equestrianism more widely, although she also looks at advancing teaching and learning practice.
