Overview

Greg joined Hartpury University in January 2020 as a lecturer in Strength and Conditioning and is the programme manager for the BSc (Hons) in Strength and Conditiniong degree. Greg brings a wealth of teaching experience having held previous lecturing positions with the University of Bath focusing on the development of young strength and conditioning practitioners. In addition, Greg has worked with a large number of sports and clubs which include Cardiff Devils, Severn Stars Netball, BUCS Super League Rugby and The Hundred tournament. Greg currently leads the girls County Age Group Strength and Conditioning provision for Warwickshire County Cricket Club.

Greg is an accredited coach with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is also a Level 2 British Weightlifting (BWL) Coach as well as a BWL Tutor. Greg’s current research area is within the area of long-term athletic development, with a specific focus on the impact of growth and maturation on the development of young athletes.
