Current teaching

I am a Lecturer in Animal Health with specialist interest in animal reproduction and breeding.

 

Currently I am a Module Leader for the below modules:

  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Comparative Animal Physiology
  • Systems Biology
  • Introduciton to Biochemistry

I also supervise a number of projects in various animal science themes.

Research interests

My research journey throughout the academic steps allowed me to explore various aspects of Animal Science. I have started with investigating histology of deer teeth through my MSc project and moved on to researching the effect of nutritional supplements on sheep reproduciton.

Currently, my research focus concentrates on animal breeding and genetic improvement, although I am interested in all aspects of Animal Science.
