Women's Coach Development Group - Skills, tactics and understanding (Part 1) - Gloucestershire FA

This is a networking support group that is aimed for intentional female coaches (18+) to attend. We cover a range of workshop topics that aim to help female coaches within their coaching journeys and pathways with the aim of improving their practice and confidence to deliver in relation to key concepts that the Football Association promotes.

The focus for this specific workshop was to introduce the topic idea of what skills and tactics might look like within a coach's environment. We utilised video clips from the Women's Euros 2022 and discussed, analysed and interpreted some core skills and tactics. We then discussed through collaborative practice how this could be embedded or tried within the coach's environment through planning and match day contexts.
