Description

This is a networking support group that is aimed for intentional female coaches (18+) to attend. We cover a range of workshop topics that aim to help female coaches within their coaching journeys and pathways with the aim of improving their practice and confidence to deliver in relation to key concepts that the Football Association promotes.

The focus for this specific workshop was skills, tactics and understanding. Primarily, we focused on the 'six capabilities' and what technical detail we can 'coach' to encourage our players to be more skilful. We also discussed session design and had an opportunity to plan in relation to what this might look like for different environments and players through collaborative practice.
