This talk summarises an online survey that explored feeder animals being provided to captive snakes in the UK. It compares those responses from BIAZA and non-BIAZA zoo employees with those from private keepers and highlights some of the challenges that need to be addressed moving forward in providing high quality, sustainable snake diets.
