Student centred RKE– The Hartpury Sports Business Hub case study

Description

This session focuses on how the Hartpury Sports Business Hub is engaging in research and knowledge exchange with local and national partners to enhance the student experience. The presentation highlights the role of the HSBH and its functions, before highlighting the current consultancy projects from the students on the MSc programme. The session will focus on income generation, management of partner and student expectations as well as attempting to capture impact. Students will discuss their experiences of the process and any challenges they have faced along the way. We will deliver a 15-minute presentation and raise a number of questions and points of discussion. Following this, we will open the room out to a 15-minute discussion around the following points: - Consideration of the role of RKE in enhancing student experiences. - The risks associated with industry placement opportunities and some of the precautions that are needed. - The process and procedures needed to create the hub and future developments of COP.
