Description

This was an open-invited CPD event to coaches within the Gloucestershire region to access CPD in affiliation with qualifications or those that had general interest. This was a theoretical and practical based workshop which involved discussing the FA’s initiative of developing more skilful players. The practical involved an observation task utilising female U14’s Forest Green Rovers players that are attending the Emerging Talent Centre. The observation task linked to the coach observations, reflecting on how the Coach Developer encouraged the players to develop scanning, positioning, technique, movement, deception and timing. This workshop was also designing to provide an insight into a UEFA C qualification.
